Project Description

Preparation work to include levelling of the base using flexible, self-levelling compound with various thickness vary between 5-15mm, throughout the entire area. Supply and application of epoxy-resin primer onto the base, in order to improve the bond with the new flooring. Supply and install engineered parquet flooring 20mm total thickness, 70x350mm Prime grade. The flooring to be laid in herringbone pattern fully bonded onto the base, using flexible parquet adhesive. To undercut any doors doorframes and architraves where required. To supply and fit matching accessories where required. Manufacture supply and installation of Marquetry Borders & Medallions in various rooms, as well as landings. This includes Medallions: Golden Cage, Persia, Beatrice, Broken Glass, as well as Bespoke Design Medallion. In addition, the flooring has been framed with three strip border, as well as variation of border King & border Gallant. After the installation is complete, the entire flooring area to be lightly sanded and polished. To apply two coats of clear hard wax oil finish for protection.

As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with  our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring.
