Project Description

Renovation of the existing flooring in one bedroom. Preparation work to include removing and disposing of all existing carpet, carpet grippers and underlay. To replace any damaged or missing boards, using matching size, reclaimed pine boards. To gap fill all big gaps using pine slivers, to gap fill all minor gaps, cracks and nail holes, using mix of resin and sawdust. After the repair is complete, to sand down to bare wood all existing pine boards. To polish the flooring with buffing machine in order to achieve smooth finish. To apply one coat of standard stain, sample of the stain to be applied onto the flooring for client’s approval. Application of three coats of clear, water-based lacquer for protection.

As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with  our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring. Two, sometimes, three very helpful specialists from your firm - or associated with  you - worked energetically to sort out the problem and  implement the client’ s (i.e. our) wishes and preferences.   Their guidance as regards the maintenance of the wood flooring was very helpful.
