Project Description

The quote is based on installation of Versailles panels flooring in extension. Preparation work to include supply and application of liquid, epoxy resin Damp Proofing Membrane, onto the existing base, in order to block any residual moisture and improve the bond with the new flooring. To supply and install engineered Versailles parquet panels Prime Grade, 800x800mm, 20mm total thickness. The panels to be fully bonded onto the base, using flexible parquet adhesive. The Versailles panels to be laid diagonally. To machine bigger bevel on the perimeter of each panel. After the installation is complete to brush and chain distress on site the panels. To apply one coat of coloured Hard Wax Oil, followed by one coat of clear, Hard Wax Oil finish, Satin Sheen, for protection.

When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring.
