Project Description

Installation of herringbone parquet flooring in Sitting room and corridor. Preparation work to include removing and disposing of the existing carpet, carpet grippers and underlay. To supply and apply liquid, Epoxy-Resin Primer on to the existing base, in order to improve the bond with the new flooring. To supply and install Solid Oak Herringbone Parquet 20x70x280mm The wood blocks to be laid in herringbone pattern from wall to wall, fully bonded onto the base, using flexible parquet adhesive. After the installation is complete the entire flooring area to be lightly sanded and polished. To apply one coat of standard stain, similar to the existing flooring (samples to be applied onto the flooring for clients approval), followed by clear finish for protection. To remove and re-fit of the existing skirting, The skirting will require filling and painting after installation, not included in this quote. To supply and fit matching finish flat beading around the fitted furniture.
