Project Description

Installation of parquet flooring in Living room, Hallway & lower hallway. Preparation work to include supply and installation of 6mm WBP Plywood as a base of the new flooring. To supply and install engineered herringbone parquet flooring 15mm total thickness, 120x6000mm, pre-finished, clear/natural finish. The wood blocks to be laid in herringbone pattern from wall to wall. The parquet blocks to be fully bonded onto the base using flexible parquet adhesive. To supply and install 12mm thick MDF fascia on to the existing skirting, to cover the expansion gap. To supply and fit matching finish threshold reducers and trims where required. To clad 7 steps and risers using matching finished planks and stair nosings.

As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with  our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring. Two, sometimes, three very helpful specialists from your firm - or associated with  you - worked energetically to sort out the problem and  implement the client’ s (i.e. our) wishes and preferences.   Their guidance as regards the maintenance of the wood flooring was very helpful.
