Project Description

The quote is based on installation of new flooring in Hallway & Kitchen. Preparation work to include removing and disposing of the existing carpet, carpet grippers and underlay. In hallway, to secure any loose boards and carry out minor localised repair work. In kitchen To undercut any plinths & side boards, in order to accommodate the new flooring. To supply and install engineered oak flooring, 15mm total thickness, 190mm wide, rustic grade, “Bandai“. The flooring to be installed as a floated floor onto standard underlay. To supply and fit Close match oak sctotia beading around teh edges to cover the expansion gap
Undercutting 5 doors, door frames and architraves, in order to accommodate the new flooring. To supply and fit close match solid oak door thresholds at the doorways

When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring. Two, sometimes, three very helpful specialists from your firm - or associated with  you - worked energetically to sort out the problem and  implement the client’ s (i.e. our) wishes and preferences.
