Project Description

Installation of new flooring in Loft, as well as cladding of few steps in landing. Preparation work to include removing and disposing of the existing carpet, carpet grippers and underlay from the loft area. To remove and dispose of the existing carpet, carpet grippers and underlay from the staircase. Supply and installation of engineered oak planks, 15mm total thickness, 190mm wide, Rustic grade, clear, natural finish Brushed & Oiled. The flooring to be installed as a floated floor on to standard underlay. To remove and dispose of the existing skirting, to supply and install new, standard profile MDF skirting around the edges to cover the expansion gap. The skirting will require filling and painting after installation, not included in this quote. Undercutting three doors doorframes and architraves, to supply and install one, matching finish, solid oak door thresholds at the doorway to the bathroom. To clad three steps and risers, using engineered oak planks and matching finish stair nosings.
