Project Description

Cladding of two flights of stairs and fitting floor on two landings. Preparation work to include supply and installation of 6mm plywood onto the landings. The plywood to be glued and screwed onto the existing subfloor. To install engineered flooring (supplied by the client) onto the landings. The flooring to be fully bonded onto the plywood base, using flexible parquet adhesive. Undercutting any door frames and architraves where required in order to accommodate the new flooring. To install matching finish thresholds and trims (supplied by the client) where required. To leave very small expansion gap 4-5mm, as there would not be any skirting/beading, it will needs to be filled it with mastic or equivalent. To cut of the existing stair nosings. Cladding of two flights of stairs (threads and risers), using engineered flooring and matching stair nosings.

As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with  our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring.
