Project Description

Cladding of one flight of stairs (Top flight) in residential property. Preparation work includes removing and disposing of the existing carpet, carpet grippers and underlay. Cladding of all threads using engineered oak flooring “Oak Ebony” & matching finish stair nosing. As the steps are bigger than standard, they need to be cladded using stair nosing, single plank 180mm & narrow strip of flooring at the back. To fit 3mm MDF onto the risers. The risers will require painting by decorator, not included in this quote. To allow for all logistics, as well as temporary protection in the top level of the property

As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with  our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring. Two, sometimes, three very helpful specialists from your firm - or associated with  you - worked energetically to sort out the problem and  implement the client’ s (i.e. our) wishes and preferences.   Their guidance as regards the maintenance of the wood flooring was very helpful.
