Project Description

Supply and installation of new engineered Chevron flooring in Living room, Hallway, Two Bedrooms. Preparation work to include removing and disposing of the existing carpet, carpet grippers and underlay. To remove and dispose of the existing skirting. To remove and dispose of the existing fireplace. To level the base using self levelling compound. To supply and lay Sound insulation panels Deckfon T26 (noise reduction up to 57 dB). To supply and fit acoustic foam around the perimeter of the area. To supply engineered Chevron 3/15x90x600 mm AB Selected grade, Bespoke oiled finish To supply flexible parquet adhesive. To install the chevron flooring fully bonded on to the base, using flexible parquet adhesive. To supply and install, standard profile MDF skirting around the edges to cover the expansion gap. The skirting will require filling and painting after installation, not included in this works. To supply and fit matching finish, solid oak door thresholds where required.

As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with  our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring. Two, sometimes, three very helpful specialists from your firm - or associated with  you - worked energetically to sort out the problem and  implement the client’ s (i.e. our) wishes and preferences.   Their guidance as regards the maintenance of the wood flooring was very helpful.
