Project Description

Supply and installation of engineered herringbone parquet flooring in Kitchen area. The works includes removing of the existing ceramic tiles. Making good and levelling the base using self-levelling compound. Application of liquid, epoxy resin primer onto the base, in order to improve the bond with the new flooring.
Supply and install engineered oak herringbone parquet 15mm total thickness, 100x600mm, bevelled, brushed, bespoke oil finish similar to the existing one in the living room (Cask colour). The wood blocks are installed in herringbone pattern from wall to wall, fully bonded onto the base, using flexible parquet adhesive. Supply and fit of standard profile Chamfered, MDF skirting 100mm around the edges to cover the expansion gap. Supply and installation of two matching finish solid oak door thresholds at the doorways.

Supply and installation of two matching finish solid oak door thresholds at the doorways.

As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with  our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring.
