Project Description

Installation of new flooring in Living room, Dining room and Corridor.
Preparation work to include priming of the chipboard base, in order to improve the bond with the new flooring. To supply and install engineered oak flooring 15mm total thickness, 190mm wide, rustic grade, brushed, Bespoke oiled finish “Weathered Wood. The flooring to be installed as a floated floor onto 4mm thick underlay. To supply and fit one matching finish step nosing, one flat door threshold. To undercut one door, doorframe and architrave, where required. Installation of skirting to be carried by separate contractor on site after the flooring work is complete. In Kitchen area, to lightly sand and polish one step and two risers leading to the kitchen area. To apply clear lacquer finish for protection.

As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with  our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring. Two, sometimes, three very helpful specialists from your firm - or associated with  you - worked energetically to sort out the problem and  implement the client’ s (i.e. our) wishes and preferences.   Their guidance as regards the maintenance of the wood flooring was very helpful.
