Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I want to compliment you on your firm’s recent service for us.
As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring. Two, sometimes, three very helpful specialists from your firm - or associated with you - worked energetically to sort out the problem and implement the client’ s (i.e. our) wishes and preferences. Their guidance as regards the maintenance of the wood flooring was very helpful.

We are satisfied with the result and we will be pleased to recommend Luxury Wood Flooring to potential clients.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Luxury Wood Flooring were our Christmas saviors! Our previous contractor failed to sand and varnish our floors properly, leaving us in a tough spot just before the holidays. We needed someone to redo everything and finish by Christmas. Steven and his team did an amazing job restoring our wooden floors, completing the work on time, and leaving the premises spotless. We’re really pleased with the results and their professional approach.

It is important indeed to achieve the right conditions of the base, as well as environment, which will guarantee perfect wood flooring installation

Preparation Services

Sub Floor Preparation

- The sub-floor is the foundation of your new investment, and we ensure it is perfectly stable, flat, and ready to receive your chosen timber. This process often includes professional levelling, screeding, or installing High-Grade plywood to eliminate imperfections that could affect the final floor.
Sound Proofing

- In multi-story homes or apartments in Friern Barnet, sound reduction is a crucial consideration for comfort and compliance. We install high-performance acoustic matting and specialised underlays beneath the wood floor, effectively dampening impact noise and reducing sound transfer between floors. More robust approach is to fit sound insulation between joist, following by high performance noise reduction floor panels.
Damp Proofing

- Essential for all ground-floor, lower ground floors & basement installations, specifically for those built on concrete slabs. This is important, as damp proofing prevents moisture migration that could seriously damage the timber over time. Do you know that...

Friern Barnet was an ancient parish in the Finsbury division of Ossulstone hundred, in the county of Middlesex. The area was originally considered to be part of Barnet, most of which was in Hertfordshire. By the 13th century the Middlesex section of Barnet was known as Little Barnet, before becoming Frerenbarnet and then Friern Barnet (sometimes spelt in other ways, such as "Fryern Barnett"). The "Friern" part of the parish's name derives from the French for "brother" and refers to the medieval lordship of the Brotherhood or Knights of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem. Friern Barnet was mainly rural until the 19th century. The opening of Colney Hatch paupers' lunatic asylum in 1851, and of railway stations on the Great Northern and Metropolitan Railways, also in the mid-19th century, prompted its development as an outer London suburb. This process was accelerated by the arrival of electric trams in the 1900s.
