Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I want to compliment you on your firm’s recent service for us.
As an example, your specialists were helpful in dealing with our old carpets. When the old carpet along the corridor was removed, though the floor was concrete, there were a lot of old materials and also wires to be removed and a thorough preparation had to be done before laying the parquet flooring. Two, sometimes, three very helpful specialists from your firm - or associated with you - worked energetically to sort out the problem and implement the client’ s (i.e. our) wishes and preferences. Their guidance as regards the maintenance of the wood flooring was very helpful.

We are satisfied with the result and we will be pleased to recommend Luxury Wood Flooring to potential clients.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Luxury Wood Flooring were our Christmas saviors! Our previous contractor failed to sand and varnish our floors properly, leaving us in a tough spot just before the holidays. We needed someone to redo everything and finish by Christmas. Steven and his team did an amazing job restoring our wooden floors, completing the work on time, and leaving the premises spotless. We’re really pleased with the results and their professional approach.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience having parquet installed by this company. The end result was gorgeous and the workers were prompt and kept me informed about the progress of the project. By far this was the best experience I’ve had doing home renovations! I’d highly recommend Luxury Wood Flooring!

It is important indeed to achieve the right conditions of the base, as well as environment, which will ensure impecable wood flooring installation

Preparation Services

Sub Floor Preparation

- The sub-floor is the foundation of your new investment, and we ensure it is perfectly stable, flat, and ready to receive your chosen timber. This process often includes professional levelling, screeding, or installing High-Grade plywood to eliminate imperfections that could affect the final floor.
Sound Proofing

- In multi-story homes or apartments in Chiswick, sound reduction is a crucial consideration for comfort and compliance. We install high-performance acoustic matting and specialised underlays beneath the wood floor, effectively dampening impact noise and reducing sound transfer between floors. More robust approach is to fit sound insulation between joist, following by high performance noise reduction floor panels.
Damp Proofing

- Essential for all ground-floor, lower ground floors & basement installations, specifically for those built on concrete slabs. This is important, as damp proofing prevents moisture migration that could seriously damage the timber over time. Do you know that...

Chiswick was first recorded c. 1000 as the Old English Ceswican meaning "Cheese Farm"; the riverside area of Duke's Meadows is thought to have supported an annual cheese fair up until the 18th century. The area was settled in Roman times; an urn found at Turnham Green contained Roman coins, and Roman brickwork was found under the Sutton manor house. Old Chiswick grew up as a village around St Nicholas Church from c. 1181 on Church Street, its inhabitants practising farming, fishing and other riverside trades including a ferry, important as there were no bridges between London Bridge and Kingston throughout the Middle Ages. The area included three other small settlements, the fishing village of Strand-on-the-Green, the hamlet of Little Sutton in the centre, and Turnham Green on the west road out of London. A decisive skirmish took place on Turnham Green early in the English Civil War. In November 1642, royalist forces under Prince Rupert, marching from Oxford to retake London, were halted by a larger parliamentarian force under the Earl of Essex. The royalists retreated and never again threatened the capital.
